About Me
My career path started taking shape long before I recognized the journey.​

From childhood through my high school years, I could be found in my room on my laptop making playlists and mixtape CDs, listening to my dad jam on his guitar and discovering new artists on the radio. I went to smaller concert venues as often as I could. It was during my senior year, when I was given a ticket to Coachella for graduation, that I was hooked and chose to pursue a career in the music industry. ​

After graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Journalism and Media Studies, I managed to land my dream job at Live Nation, the world's leading entertainment ticketing company. As a Social Media Content Specialist, I played a pivotal role in shaping the content featured on the brand's social platforms. I was responsible for managing content associated with over 200 tour announcements for some of the biggest global stars, including Lady Gaga, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Lana Del Rey, Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin, among others.
In this role, I thrived in capturing content at both on-site and off-site events and shows. I expertly managed tour-specific budgets and coordinated efforts across the marketing division to amplify some of the world's most significant live shows.

However, the unexpected arrival of COVID-19 brought a sudden twist to my journey. With live events coming to a halt, I faced a challenging furlough. While it was a tough phase, I utilized the time to explore other opportunities and expand my professional knowledge within the entertainment industry.
​
During that summer, I secured a role as a Social Media Coordinator with VENN TV, a startup television network in the multi-billion-dollar video game industry. This network focused on all things gaming, including the players, their lifestyles, and their pop culture influence. Within a short span, I was offered the role of Associate Social Producer for three of the network's four most popular shows. In this position, I collaborated with the main Social Producer to generate and execute ideas, supervised the internal approval process, and managed the cross-channel distribution of content to promote these live shows.

My journey then took a new turn as I delved deeper into another passion of mine - film and television. I took a hands-on social producing role at CBS’ 'The Talk.' Here, I saw significant growth in my copywriting, talent management, and editing skills. It was during this period of my career that I discovered a newfound confidence in myself and my abilities, further motivating me to continue climbing the ladder in the field of social media management in the entertainment industry.

Today, I am currently responsible for managing the social media presence of one of the world's largest global streaming services, Prime Video, at Movement Strategy. In my role as the primary client liaison for all original programming, I lead strategic initiatives, produce data-driven recaps, and oversee all aspects of original content creation, from production to its ultimate sharing across social platforms.

With over five years of professional experience, I have evolved into an executive with the ability to create and execute across different domains of the entertainment industry. This relevant experience serves as my guiding star, enabling me to navigate the ever-evolving language of internet culture and the talent that shapes today's brand conversations.
